My name is Kristen Finley, born in March of 1988. This is my second year at Kent State University. I'm going here for Fashion Merchandising. I'm not exactly sure what I would like to do yet with in my major and I’m hoping to figure that out more this year. I live in a town outside of Columbus Ohio, called Pickerington, which is about two an half hours away from Kent. I've never done much of the sports just a couple years of soccer and tennis. However I am into more of the artsy thingy, I did dance for 14 years, choir for 4 years, and played piano for 5 years. I do however like to just play lacrosse for fun. I came here with about five other girls from my town. My family is very important to me. I have one older brother who goes to Bowling Green University. Over the past few years we’ve gotten really close and I try to visit him at school as much as I can. When I’m not here at Kent I live at home with my mom and dad, which actually isn’t that bad. Our family is pretty much obsessed with the Chicago Bears; this is probably due to my dad and brother over the past few years. This past summer I worked at the Ohio high school athletic association, and am still working there whenever I can when I come home on breaks. I also worked at a doctor’s office for just a couple hours a week but am no longer working there.
